There is no switchboard here and no contact form that vanishes into a service we do not own. This page goes to a table on our own site, and a person reads every message, usually within a couple of days.
Pick what you are sending and the form asks for what we need. Sending something does not put it on the site: an editor reads it first.

Corrections
If we got something wrong, say so and we will fix it. Pick "Correction" above, tell us which story and what is wrong, and we will correct the article and say what changed. We would rather be corrected than be quietly wrong.
Sending us something to publish
A letter, a photo, a recipe, an event, a business update: it all goes in the same form. We edit for length, spelling and clarity, without changing what you meant, and you keep the copyright in anything you send.
What we do with your details
We use your email address to answer you and for nothing else. We never sell it, never share it, and sending this form does not put you on the newsletter. That is a separate sign-up you choose yourself.
