Gallagher Road is a gravel forest road that leaves Old Galvin Lane at a wooded junction south of International Falls and runs east through aspen, birch and spruce. A small brown routed-letter sign on a post marks the turn; maps spell the road Galleger, the sign says Gallagher. Beaver Brook runs a short way to the northeast.
It belongs to the web of logging and forest roads in the country south of the Rat Root River. Expect gravel, no services and no signage beyond the name. The neighbouring Galvin Road carries a posted rule of dry or frozen conditions only, and the same caution is sensible here.
The photograph here is from an August visit to the junction. The road beyond has not been driven for this listing.
