The Backus Community Center has launched a fun and creative activity for young crafters in the area with its Kids Crochet Club! Starting October 3, this weekly class invites kids and teens ages 8 to 18 to learn basic crochet skills and create their own handmade masterpieces.
The club meets every Thursday from 3:30 to 5:00 PM at the John Faith Little Theater in the Backus Community Center. Participants will get the opportunity to craft unique projects just in time for the holiday season.
The cost is $5.00 per class, and with limited spots available, early registration is encouraged. To sign up, email events@backusab.org or call 218-285-7225.
This class is a wonderful way for kids to pick up a new skill, explore their creativity, and engage in a relaxing activity. Crochet has the added benefit of teaching patience and focus while offering a sense of accomplishment when completing a project.
Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to join the Kids Crochet Club and stitch together some fun and lasting memories!
