ifalls.news is a small operation, and much of what you read here is written by AI systems we run. They read public sources, such as city and county agendas and minutes, school newsletters, park, weather and water-level services, and community calendars, and turn them into the articles, roundups and listings on this site. The box at the top of an AI-written article names the AI model and the sources it worked from.
Every automated article goes through automated checks before it publishes: one for structure and wording, and for most of our feeds a fact-check that compares the draft against its sources. A draft that fails is held for a person to look at. We do not read every article before it goes live. People review some of what publishes, spot-check the rest, and fix what readers report.
That means mistakes get through: a wrong date, a misspelled name, a number read off the wrong line, a meeting that was rescheduled after the agenda posted. For anything that matters, such as a meeting time, a closure, a deadline or a price, check the original source linked in the article.
If you spot an error, tell us through the correction form or at info@ifalls.news. We fix errors as soon as we see them.
Content on this site is provided as is. ifalls.news, Small Town Tech Inc., their staff and partners are not liable for decisions made on the strength of an AI-written article, and an AI-written article does not state a position of ifalls.news or its staff.

Falls Elementary wrapped up March with a Bronco Pride Assembly that brought high schoolers, a mascot, and a full roster of student award winners together to celebrate community — and set the tone for April’s character focus: Honesty.

The assembly featured FHS Bronco Cheerleaders, the school mascot, and members of the FHS Speech Team as guest role models. They spoke to elementary students about leadership, standing up for one another, and the value of getting involved and trying new things.
The school recognized Ms. Jordan as the Staff Member of the Month for March. Congratulations to Ms. Jordan for her contributions to the Falls Elementary community.
Dozens of students across every grade were recognized for demonstrating outstanding Bronco Pride. This month’s honorees include:
One student from each grade level was selected in the Bronco Pride Drawing:
Students of the Month were invited to an optional lunch with the principal, where they also got to select a book from the book machine and receive a treat. The gatherings were filled with conversation about pets, favorite foods, and jokes.
One student shared they had never been to the principal’s office before because they associated it with getting in trouble — a moment that prompted a reminder from school leadership that the office is a place of support, open to any student who wants to say hello, share good news, take a quiet break, or ask for help.

Students also had the chance to enjoy a special Lunch with the Turtles, made possible by Mr. Saari. Thank you to Mr. Saari for this memorable experience!
Students in grades 3 through 6 will be taking Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments (MCAs) in April. Staff encouraged students to do their best and approach test day with the same pride they bring every day.
Families are encouraged to prioritize attendance during the testing window. With only 10 weeks left in the school year, the school is urging students and families to stay consistent, engaged, and connected to finish strong.
Fourth graders put their coding skills to work in STEAM class, using an online app to program Dash robots through a challenging maze. The project combined problem-solving, creativity, and teamwork in a hands-on format.
Ms. Sullivan’s students created scale models of Earth’s layers — inner core, outer core, mantle, and crust — using Play-Doh, bringing geology to life through hands-on exploration.
Mrs. Sullivan’s class completed a reading of Wonder by R.J. Palacio and created a collaborative poster of meaningful precepts from the book — including original ones written by students themselves. The project deepened students’ understanding of kindness, empathy, and acceptance.
A friendly hallway neatness competition is underway, with students of all ages working together to keep shared spaces clean and organized. Each week, the wing with the neatest hallway earns recognition — and the overall winner gets a popcorn party. Students can also earn magnetic stars for their lockers by demonstrating exceptional neatness.

The school reminded families that Falls Elementary takes bullying and harassment seriously and uses Restorative Practices to help resolve conflict and repair relationships. Students and families are encouraged to speak with a trusted adult if concerns arise. Every student deserves to feel safe at school.
