The Ranier Municipal Liquor Store, affectionately known as the “Muni,” is a beloved community hub located on Spruce Street in Ranier. Since its humble beginnings in 1944, the Muni has grown into a vibrant spot where locals and visitors can enjoy a drink, participate in dart and pool leagues, and try their luck with pull-tabs. Managed by Jenn Seegert, the Muni not only offers a welcoming atmosphere but also contributes to the city’s general fund, supporting projects like the re-roofing of the Ranier Community Building and the construction of the Jameson Dock on Rainy River.
