A carved wooden statue and interpretive marker honoring Uncle Dan Campbell, the Scottish railroad construction worker who in 1877 became the first white settler of Ripple — incorporated as Big Falls in 1904. Antique logging equipment is displayed alongside at the Highway 71 and MN 6 junction.
